4 Reasons Why You Should Quit a Person/Company Who Tells You “Don’t Think!”

4 Reasons Why You Should Quit a Person/Company Who Tells You “Don’t Think!”

“Don’t think! Just observe and do it!” I heard this sentence many times from leaders in some companies . I started asking myself why a manager should ask a worker to execute instructions without thinking. These are four reasons I found from my personal observations and researches:

  1. “You think, therefore you are”. Descartes was right by saying that you are what you think. If you don’t think, you are nobody. Remember that the person who tells you not to think wants to make sure you are NOBODY: No personality; No values; No sense of responsibility.
  2. Power brain. The average human being uses less than 5% of his brain potentials according to some scientists. Hindering you to think when you use less than 5% of your brain power is telling you to become doom.
  3. Thinking brings knowledge and knowledge is power. Somebody who tells you not to think knows you may know what he/she knows. And if you know what he knows, he can no more control or dominate you. He might be afraid you become more knowledgeable than him and maybe, become better than him/her or  take his/her place.
  4. The difference between human beings and animals is the ability Men have to think. Otherwise, animals function instinctively while human beings can process information before acting. Never stay in someone or company’s environment who does not trigger your ability to process information. Go and work where you’ll reach your full potential in the most critical area: Power thinking.

This is what I found from my own observations and analysis. Maybe you know other reasons why someone should quit somebody or a company that prevents to think. Or, you went through a personal experience you would like to share with us.

I will be glad to hear from you!
