Get The Best From These 7 Motivational Speeches by Answering These Questions

I am happy to continue this week with motivational speeches I crafted from LinkedIn, the largest network of professionals around the globe.

I am confident the view expressed by experts on that platform really portray the actual situations of many individuals, managers, families and organization.

That’s why I strongly recommend you to answer the questions I added bellow each motivational speech. Those questions are strategically asked to help you take the necessary actions to move to the next level of your life.

1.“ The best managers absorb fear… I’m not talking about soothing people by blowing smoke or giving false assurances… They need to hear and to believe that you have a plan and that, working together, they can help execute it.” ( former GE CEO Jeff Immelt)

As a leader, what plan do you have for your family, your church group or your community activities?
Where are you leading your team to and how do you make sure everybody is involved in the plan?

2. “While we each can accomplish a lot individually, a diverse, inclusive, motivated and empowered team can accomplish so much more.”(Procter & Gamble CEO David Taylor)

Does your team reflect the cross-cultural richness of your community?

3. “When it comes to making yourself happy, you need to learn what works for you. Once you discover this, everything else tends to fall into place. And making yourself happy doesn’t just improve your performance; it’s also good for your health.” (Dr. Travis Bradberry)

What did you do that produced the expected results that boosted your passion? Do you enjoy  now what works for you in your marriage, your job, business or your community group?

4.“Culture is the the sum of the examples you set, the incentives you create, and the behaviors you reward: it’s what nudges people to act in ways you’d be proud of.” ( Laura Weidman Powers)

If you knew that there is one person that will become successful because he/she is imitating your lifestyle, how would you behave in front of the person?

5.“In spite of whatever disappointing experiences come our way, our challenge will be to not let bitterness take root. Although disappointment is inevitable, being discouraged is always a choice.” ( INSEAD professor Manfred Kets de Vries)

Is there a situation where you choose to continue doing the right thing despite all obstacles and failures? What made you keep moving forward? Could you choose again to keep moving forward despite the challenges you are facing now?

6. “I encourage you to keep pushing until you have a diverse group of candidates and hold off interviewing anyone until you can interview a diverse slate, including men and women.”
(Walmart.com president and CEO and Jet.com founder and CEO Marc Lore)

How do you make sure there is equal opportunity for men and women in your team?

7. “Happiness, it turns out, doesn’t have that much to do with the car you drive or the job you have or even the person you spend your life with. Happiness is actually a choice.” (Futurist and author Bernard Marr)

What are the decision you are taking right now to be happy?

As I was writing these questions to grow my own knowledge, skills and attitudes, I noticed the third and  the fith one really helped me get focused again on my priorities.

What about you? I would like to hear from you which of the above questions helped you know the actions to take to improve your life, your family life, your community group or your business.
